Nonsurgical BBL
You may have heard of the term "noninvasive BBL" going around lately. This is a newer, trending treatment that is a lot less risky than going under the knife.
That's because noninvasive butt lifts are exactly that - noninvasive.
You probably have seen the cone-shaped cups being placed on the butt and sucking in the skin on social media and wondering 'just what exactly in the heck is this?'
However, instead of placing some vacuum cups on the buttocks and calling it a day, we take ours a step or two further and pair it with virtual mesotherapy and EMS.
But what exactly is the process? What is virtual mesotherapy? And how does it compare to a regular BBL?
Well I'm here to tell you so that you can make your own decision when it comes to both invasive and noninvasive butt lifts.
First off, what is a surgical BBL?
A surgical BBL involves transferring fat from one area of the body (typically the stomach and/or waist and back area), known as fat grafting, and injecting it into the buttocks.
A surgical BBL is known to be one of one of the most, if not the most dangerous cosmetic surgical procedure because of the risk of fat embolism. When fat is accidentally injected into the inferior gluteal vein, this can cause a fat embolism which is usually fatal. Based on survey data, the death rate for a BBL is as high as 1 in every 3,000, which is a very high mortality rate, and is higher than any other plastic surgery.
Like any fat grafting procedure, not all of the fat that is injected in a surgical BBL will last long-term. Anywhere between 20-40% of the injected fat gets absorbed by the body during the healing process. And while it is aesthetically pleasing in the beginning, the results stay that way for the first 2-3 years before sagging can once again become apparent.
The injection of fat can improve the shape and size of the butt, but after several years the fat will start to accumulate sideways and downwards, especially for those who do not exercise and have gained weight after surgery.
Surgical BBL's are great for enlarging and lifting the bum, but cannot help with the appearance of cellulite.
So if you are looking for a surgical BBL that will last you for 10-15 years, you will HAVE to put in the work to avoid any sagging skin, shape deformation and/or cellulite.
Recovery time takes approximately 6-8 weeks, but full recovery will take between 2 and 3 months. A compression garment is usually recommended, as well as lymphatic drainage massages to remove the fluid and keep the swelling down. Sitting and/or lieing down on your butt is not allowed for 2 weeks, but you may be able to sit for short periods of time on a specially designed pillow that evenly distributes pressure. You won't be able to sit without this pillow for approximately 8 weeks.
Time for recovery will vary from person to person, but this is the average recovery time for most patients.
The risks and complications or a surgical BBL include:
Bruising
Infection
Skin discoloration
Changes in sensation
Swelling and/or poor wound healing
Fat embolism
Possible death
The cost of a surgical BBL, on average, will cost you about $6500. But it can vary from as low as $3,000 - $30,000. The cost will vary by location, surgeon, and complexity of the procedure, as well as if any aftercare and lodging is included.
Anyone who is looking into getting this procedure done should be informed of all the possible risks and complications so that they are fully aware of what a surgical BBL is, and what problems can arise should something go wrong.
Moreoever, not everyone will qualify for a surgical BBL. If you're someone with very little body fat and there are not many places to take fat from in your body to inject into the buttocks, you probably will not qualify for the procedure.
Please know that we do not advise against any surgery, and we do encourage surgically enhanced procedures for anyone who is wanting more confidence and to feel better about themselves. But we do like having a noninvasive option for those who want a fuller, more plump rear, but do not want to undergo the risks or the complications of a surgical treatment.
So what exactly is our Nonsurgical BBL Package?
First, let's break down the different noninvasive treatments that we use to help build a beautiful round behind.
Virtual Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a treatment that normally uses needles to inject various serums of enzymes, hormones and vitamins into the skin that help to tighten skin, reduce cellulite and excess fat, and help to enlarge, tighten, tone and plump the buttocks.
However, because we use virtual mesotherapy, no needles are involved and instead we are able to inject the same botanicals and extracts using electroporation. Electroporation allows us to penetrate products inside the skin and the cells by creating pores in the membranes of the cells, allowing the cell to absorb the active ingredients and use electromagnetic impulses to increase the permeability of the skin.
This gives us the same effects as mesotherapy injections, but without the use of needles, or any risk of bruising.
This is the part of the treatment that allows us to enlarge the buttocks.
EMS
The EMS russian wave machine is similar to an EMSculpt treatment, where it electrically stimulates the muscle fibres, allowing the fibres to become active and gain volume in the glutes, while reducing the flaccidity.
The only difference being, that multiple pads are needed due to the size vs a paddle on an EMSculpt machine. The treatments both offer results. EMS also helps to decrease cellulite, and helps to define and tone the gluteal muscles. When paired with strength training, and isolated glute exercises, we are able to really see a difference in the way the booty 'pops.'
This is the part of the treatment that allows us to help activate and tone the glutes.
Vacuum Therapy
You may have seen vacuum therapy cups placed on the butt on Instagram or Tiktok. This treatment helps increase circulation, diminishes the appearance of cellulite, and helps to "lift" the buttocks. Because this is a cupping treatment, it also helps to remove toxins from the muscles and increases lymphatic flow.
Each 30 minute session of vacuum therapy is the equivalent of about 1200 squats. Sounds like a lot right? But in reality, how many gym sessions and squats would it take to see a difference in the shape and size of your booty? A lot. Vacuum therapy will help to give you that boost you need that you cannot get from the gym and dieting alone.
This is the part of the treatment that helps to lift the butt.
When you put all three treatments together, they form a powerhouse to create a fuller, plump, more defined and lifted backside that is comparable to a surgical butt lift, without the pain or recovery time, and without the risks and complications.
Because it is a nonsurgical treatment, it requires multiple sessions to achieve the desired look. (Think in terms of the time it takes to fully recover from a BBL, except you will have no downtime with this treatment.)
Our Nonsurgical BBL Package includes 16 treatments over a course of 2 months (2 treatments a week - 1 treatment is mesotherapy, EMS and vacuum therapy, and the other is vacuum therapy and EMS only).
Virtual mesotherapy treatments must be done at least 8 days apart. There is a total of 8 mesotherapy treatments included in the package, while EMS and vacuum therapy is included in all 16 sessions. The mechanics of these treatments really help to pull, raise, lift, shape and enlarge the butt, producing gorgeous results in qualified candidates.
So what does the aftercare include for a Nonsurgical Butt Lift?
For starters, we ask that you stay active throughout your treatments, as well as after your sessions are completed in order to maintain the results and keep the look we have created.
If you are not normally an active individual who doesn't like to exercise and does not want to commit to some gluteal work, this treatment is not for you.
Noninvasive treatments, including nonsurgical butt lifts require work on the client's part in order to keep the butt elevated and lifted.
This goes for a surgical BBL as well. I've seen many women with surgically enhanced butts who don't work out or eat healthy and the drastic way it has changed the look of their surgery years after their procedure.
So if you are thinking of getting a noninvasive butt lift, you must commit to get the utmost results out of your treatment and include some form of glute exercises, (which could be as minimal as getting 50-100 squats in every night, although isolated glute exercises will work best).
We ask that you wear butt lifting panties right after each session, as well as as often as you can to keep the butt raised. These can be found on Amazon with the following links:
If you order any of these panties, make sure you go up a size or two, as these run extremely small.
We also ask that you stay fully hydrated throughout your sessions (2-3 liters a day), and avoid alcohol 24 hours prior to your session, as well as 24 hours after so our body is able to break down any toxins. Please wear a thong to your appointment so we are able to reach all areas of your booty.
Are there side effects?
The only side effects that can be expected, would be some redness, cup kisses (the rings left by the vacuum cups) which will go away in a few hours), some soreness and a possibility of some mild bruising.
If you feel sore, this is normal, and it can be compared to how you would feel after an intensive lower body workout. This means that it's working and we are slowly building the glute muscles.
This take time... so you must be patient and consistent over the course of your 8 week treatment plan in order to get the results you want.
What does a Nonsurgical BBL cost?
Currently, we are charging $1800 for our Nonsurgical BBL Package. This includes 2 months worth of treatments, as we need this time to build the muscle, and the time needed to wait in between mesotherapy sessions.
Just to reiterate, 2 treatments are done each week: one of them will consist of EMS, mesotherapy and vacuum therapy. The other will consist of EMS and vacuum therapy only.
The package includes two different mesotherapy serums. They include powerful synergistic firming actives, antioxidants and regenerators that help to visibly lift, firm and enlarge the buttocks, as well as tone and increase muscle mass and improve the appearance of the skin.
An in-person consultation must be booked prior to go over your medical history, your goals and to decide if you are a good candidate. If you meet all the qualifications, your session is then booked at least two weeks out (this is to ensure product availability, and the appropriate time slots are available).
We then require a 25% deposit.
Once it is booked, you are then on your way to achieving a beautifully shaped, more plump and toned booty.
